The Department of Trade and Industry evaluated eleven (11) DTI-BAGWIS firm – nominees in Cagayan relative to their compliance to the different criteria for the search.
Of the eleven (11) DTI-BAGWIS nominees, two firms in Cagayan are qualified for the Bagwis Gold award while the rest are qualified for the bronze and silver seals.

The assistance of the Biodiversity Partnerships Project (BPP) is made possible with the inclusion of Sta. Teresita, Cagayan as part of the priority LGUs to be assisted to mainstream biodiversity conservation in local development planning, particularly in agricultural landscapes.
