On May 20, 2016, the DTI-Nueva Vizcaya Bagwis evaluation team spearheaded by Mr. Henry O. Conel, Jr., OIC-Provincial Director, with Ms. Preciosa A. Maglaya, CTIDS and Ms. Ellerie Mila G. Ramel, SupTIDS as members, nominated fourteen (14) establishments in the municipalities of Alfonso Castañeda, Solano, Bayombong, Bambang and Bagabag for the Bagwis Seal of Excellence Award.

Tan, DTI R01 Regional Director, Mr. Florante Leal, PCCI regional governor, Mr. Charles Lim, and DTI 2 ARD Mr. Ruben Diciano during the launching ceremony of the Negosyo, Konsyumer ATBP. on April 25, 2016 at the University of La Salette, Santiago City.
The Regional Extension Unit of the Employees Compensation Commission (ECC), an attached agency of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), requested the Cagayan Negosyo Center to conduct an entrepreneurial development training for 14 Persons with Work-Related Disabilities (PWRDs). The training is a component of the ECC’s Katulong at Gabay sa Manggagawang may Kapansanan or KaGabay program which assists PWRDs to become productive members of the society through the conduct of skills and entrepreneurial trainings and other rehabilitative services. After the training, the participants will be eligible to receive financial assistance to put up their chosen micro-enterprises.
Mr. Winston T. Singun, Business Development Division Chief and Negosyo Center Coordinator served as trainer in the entrepreneurial training that was held on May 4, 2016 at the DOLE Regional Office.
