Meanwhile, the DTI – Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Team conducted a separate monitoring of compliance to TILs of establishments in their area with Bagwis Seal. Aside from checking sustained compliance of the establishments to Fair Trade Laws the monitoring was also aimed to determine sustainability of the Bagwis awardees’ commitment to serve the community through the settlement and speedy resolution of consumer complaints in their respective welfare desks.
The Bagwis seal award is given to establishments that strictly adhere to various trade and industry laws, provide quality customer care to clients and maintain a DTI recognized consumer welfare desk (CWD) or customer service counter.
