About 68 members of the Rural Improvement Clubs (RICs) in Santiago City benefitted from the Entrepreneurial Development Training with Business Plan Writing Workshop conducted by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 02 held on March 12-14, 2018 at Balay Na Santiago, Barangay Calao West, Santiago City, Isabela.
Participants were RIC members fromAbra, Ambalutungan, Victory Norte, Bannawag Norte, San Jose, and Rizal.
Mr. Romeo S. Panopio II, Trade and Industry Development Specialist (TIDS) of DTI Isabela Provincial Office served as resource speaker during the activity and discussed about Entrepreneurship and its importance as well as the process of Business Name Registration (BNR).
A Business Plan Writing Workshop and Product Cliniquing were also conducted to assist participants in improving their business and their products. Among the products that have undergone product cliniquing were bread garlic butter sticks of MLRN Food Products, heavy duty door mats, pot holders, shoulder bags, sling bags, pouches, coin purses of Rizal Rugs and Linens, and pillow cases, curtains, and throw pillows of Virginia P. Barbosa Textile Products.
