Divilacan Handicrafts Makers from Divilacan, Isabela undergo Product Cliniquing session at the Negosyo Center Training Room, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Isabela Provincial Office on September 14, 2017.
The handicrafts products are manufactured in the project COASTAL or also known as Creating Opportunities and Advanced Skills Through Advocacy and Livelihood.
In attendance were Mr. Arturo V. Umengan, Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Officer (MENRO) of Divilacan together with Ms. Alyssa Marie A. Villa, Communication Staff, Ms. Charisse C. Diongzon, Coastal Resource and Marine Associate of Palanan, DTI Personnel and NC Business Counselors.
According to Ms. Lucia P. Guerrero, Officer in Charge of Business Development Division, she said that the products can now enter the market e.g. pasalubong centers, trade fair, among others. She advised MENRO Umengan, Ms. Villa and Ms. Diongzon to persuade the Divilacan Handicraft Makers to establish their association to be registered in the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
A simple market survey was conducted among the audience after the session.
