About 50 business owners/ representatives from major business establishments in Santiago City participated in the Seminar on Effective and Efficient Handling of Consumer Complaints on December 08, 2016 at the Negosyo Center, Four Lanes, Malvar, Santiago City, Isabela.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)  organized the seminar toenable the management of every business establishment in Santiago City understand and appreciate the value of effective handling of consumer complaints – its requirements, processes, relevance and benefits to the enterprise.

Former DTI R02 Regional Director Atty. Ma. Esperanza C. Bañares shared her knowledge and expertise on the topics Consumer Act of the Philippines, Complaint Management System Checklist, Importance of Complaints Handling, Who are involved in Handling Complaints, Principles of Complaints Management, Modes of Complaints Handling, Basic Steps for Effective Complaint Management, and Communication the Customer Complaint Management System.

Through the seminar, participants were able to have profound understanding on the said topics and become more competitive in the global market.
