On December 12, 2016, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Nueva Vizcaya through its Negosyo Center in Alfonso Castañeda conducted a follow-up SMERA training to the members of the Dragon Fruit Growers and Developers Association in Barangay Lublub, Alfonso Castañeda.

Mr. Alfredo G. Queja, SMERA Counselor discussed the basics of costing and pricing to enhance the entrepreneurial skills of the members of the Association.

Mr. Queja explained that the participants must analyze the production cost of the products before making discounts or promotional sales. The speaker also made emphasis on the use of this method as basis of entrepreneurs in formulating pricing strategies.

The members were able to understand the importance of cost analysis in the growth and success of a business. They were able to correlate the topic to their basic bookkeeping training from the previous month.

In attendance were the twenty-nine (29) members of Dragon Fruit Growers and Developers Association and Ms. Maryann C. Novida, Negosyo Center Coordinator of Alfonso Castañeda assisted in the conduct of the activity.
