The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) 02 through GREAT Women 2 Project (GW2P) held the Entrep Clinic Program on December 10, 2016 in Bagay Road, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

With the theme “Growing MSMEs in Support to GO NEGOSYO- Mga kababaihan Tungo sa masaganang Pangkabuhayan”, the activity aims to mentor women entrepreneurs on the areas of Gender Sensitivity and Awareness, Marketing Opportunities/Innovations in Business, Customers’ Quality Service and Productivity, access to Micro-Finance and others.

It also intends to initially facilitate the women and young entrepreneurs to take part in the growing E-commerce Market.

Electronic commerce is the trading of facilitation products or services using computer networks such as internet or online social networks. E- Commerce draws on technologies such as mobile commerce, electronic funds transfer, supply chain management, internet marketing, online transaction processing, electronic data interchange (EDI) inventory management systems, and automated data collection.

The training aims to enhance their awareness on its benefits, business significance and advantages, technical rudiments of internet, computers and gadgets, and information use capacity and e-competencies of the WomEntrepreneurs.

In attendance were about 90 participants who comprised of Cagayan WMEs and University students from University of Cagayan Valley, St. Paul University Philippines Tuguegarao and Cagayan State University.
